Garmin's GTX 330
Transponder web site
See the same radar traffic your ATC controller is
watching with the GTX 330, a panel-mounted Mode S digital transponder
with traffic datalink capability that also meets the European mandate
for Mode S level 2 surveillance. GTX 330D adds antenna diversity to the
features of the GTX 330 for improved visibility of TCAS-equipped
aircraft flying above you.
Keep An Eye On Traffic
The IFR-certified GTX 330 offers a Traffic Information
Services (TIS) interface, giving you greater traffic awareness in some
of the United States's busiest airports. From the comfort of your
aircraft, you can receive TIS, including location, direction, altitude
and climb/descent information of nearby aircraft. This information is
displayed on your compatible Garmin panel mount, including the GNS 530,
GNS 430, GPS 500, GPS 400 and GNC 420.
Enjoy Innovative Design
GTX 330 features a solid-state design, and with no
warm up time, lower power consumption and much lower heat emissions,
you’ll enjoy a longer service life. It provides 250 watts nominal
power output and has an easy-to-read DSTN liquid crystal display which
reverses the numbers out of black for optimal viewing. An innovative
keypad makes entering a squawk code a snap, and a dedicated VFR button
allows for quick-and-easy VFR squawking. Similar to the GTX 327 Mode C
transponder, the 330 also offers several timing and display functions
including flight time, count-up and count-down timers and current
pressure altitude. In addition, it comes with remote ident and auto
standby, plus an altitude monitor with voice alerts.
GTX 330: A whole new standard in transponder utility.
